S.A.L. Membership Eligibility Requirements

All male descendants, adopted sons and stepsons of members of  The American Legion, and such male descendants of veterans who died in Service with the U. S. Armed Forces between:

(April 6, 1917 - to Present)

That's right from december 7, 1941 to cessation of hoostilities as determined by the government of the United States. All who served or who are now serving Honorably on Active Duty are eligible!  This is per the Legion Act of 2019. Must have served at least one day of active military duty during one of the dates above, or who died subsequent to their honorable discharge from such service, shall be eligible for Membership in the Sons of The American Legion. There shall be no forms or class of membership except an active membership.

Our dues are $35.00 a year, please make a check payable to "Sons of the American Legion Squadron 166" and mail it with the completed application and proof of Fathers Service (DD-214 or other discharge papers) to:

You must be 21 years of age to drink alcholic beverages in the lounge. A Junior SAL membership is available for those under 18 and it is $10.00 a year. Sign up your sons now!
